About Me
My name is Kajal Kapur
I'm Kajal.
I know how hard it is to look in the mirror and feel defeated by your own skin. After years of battling painful allergies and undiagnosed flare-ups, I started the Skin Confidence Project to change that.
When I am not researching skin ingredients, you can find me on the volleyball court playing as a defensive specialist, working out to keep my body strong, or hanging out with friends. I started this project to help you find your skin triggers, use safe products, and realize that you should never be ashamed of something out of your control. You are not alone, and together, we can reclaim our confidence.

MISSION
Help teenagers master their skin health, find safe products, and build unbeatable confidence in their own bodies.

My Research
Behind the Barrier: The Clinical Hurdles and Social Stigma of Contact Dermatitis
Research looks beyond the clinic to uncover the heavy psychological toll on patients. Because the disease is highly visible, sufferers frequently endure social isolation, anxiety, and negative treatment from a public that misinterprets chronic inflammation as poor hygiene or contagion. Ultimately, this paper argues for a radical shift in dermatology: moving past superficial, surface-level fixes to address both physical barrier repair and the social dignity of the patient.
